Cookie Policy
We use a few essential cookies to make the website and bookings work, and we remember small things like your saved resorts on your own device. Analytics cookies, which help us see how the site is used, are only set if you say yes — and you can change your mind at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit. They let the website remember things — such as what’s in your booking, or whether you’ve accepted cookies — and can help the website owner understand how it’s used.
Websites can also store information in your browser using similar technologies, called “local storage” and “session storage”. In this policy, “cookies” includes these too.
How we use them
We use cookies in three ways:
- Strictly necessary — needed for the website, bookings and security to work. These don’t need your consent, and you can’t switch them off on our website.
- Preferences — remember choices you make, such as your saved resorts. They stay on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.
- Analytics — help us understand how people find and use the website, so we can improve it. We only set these if you accept them.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t sell information to advertisers.

Preference storage

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors over a single day | 24 hours |
| sbjs_* | WooCommerce | Records how you arrived on our website (for example, from a search engine or Facebook) when you make a booking, so we know which channels work | Up to 6 months |
Google Analytics information is anonymous to us — it tells us things like which pages are popular and how people found the website, not who you are. Google may process this information outside the UK; see Google’s privacy policy and how to opt out of Google Analytics.
Third-party content
- Snow report — weather and snow data is fetched by our own server, so no information about you is sent to the weather provider.
- Facebook — we link to our Facebook page, but we don’t embed Facebook content, so Facebook can’t set cookies through our website unless you click through to it.
Managing your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you’re happy for us to use analytics cookies. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Here’s how for the most popular browsers:
If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website — such as booking an appointment — may not work.
